When Grendel first came out I was using him in excavation with randoms and there was a low MR player begging for help via batteries so after I ate a bunch of carriers I casually walked to him and vomited out 10+ batteries. He just stood there staring at the pile of batteries lol.

As someone who has been playing warframe since poe dropped, The latron is an excellent choice. I already had the thing with 7 forma invested in it and a crazy riven because I just really liked the way it felt. Around 5 years later the thing is as close to meta as anything has been and I have no complaints. A couple tips.
1. Double Tap is a conclave mod that works in pve that can give you some crazy ramping damage if you don't miss your shots, and yes, it stacks with punch through and multishot.
2. Semi-Rifle Cannonade is just better than serration on the latron and I use it because it negates the - fire rate from critical delay on my build

You can’t swap incarnon genesis adapters between different variants of weapons you will need to refarm the circuit for another adapter if you want it on another variant.

The Incarnons you can get in the Entrati labs on their own are also pretty charming, I suggest grabbing them

Technically speaking, these are incarnon GENESIS weapons, not true incarnons. The real incarnons are offered by cavalero. The Felarx, Leatum, and Phenmor are arguably just as strong or stronger than genesis weapons.
Also telos boltor is better, surprised your chat didn't mention that. Boltor prime does slightly more damage but the telos has the Truth syndicate effect built in. This blasts out gas damage in a radius around you, regens 25% of your max health, and gives you 25% parvour velocity every 30 seconds.

Honestly going with blast was a more based choice than you’d think - Blast basically chains damage to nearby enemies when you dump enough damage into them with a 300% multiplier

Well that's quite easy to do, StickyJoe 99 is awesome! Not even saying that for the giveaway(it is a VERY nice bonus,tho), I have a hard time giving away duplicates of rivens, mainly because I only have a few duplicates. Respect to him not asking for plat or anything else out of it.

Telos Boltor is not bad. In fact, I use it for incarnon. It got higher crit and magazine size. Tho the prime one has higher status chance, I doubt any heat/slash will kick in fast enough before that thing melts anything down.

I've been a big defender of you against the people complaining about you getting hand outs, because you've set a rule for yourself that you don't accept handouts and still farm and grind for the frames and items you've been given for free. There's not really any defending getting a free riven for one of the most OP weapons in the game... The base value for even the worst roll on a Latron riven is ~150 platinum and the average riven roll going for 250-300 platinum. You do you man, but I don't think you can complain when people give you shit for getting handouts now...

I used the strun prime incarn. You can do 1M+ damage in just base form. It's pretty funny.more than 1M damage and 500% status. The incarn form is insane. 500+ lvl enemies sometimes die in 1 or 2 hits. I have setups to make it do more damage and abuse all the elements.

Since you're on your way to getting Ceramic Dagger Incarnon I'd like to inform you of the existence of Slash Dash builds for Excalibur. I won't get too deep into the details, but the Incarnon buffs of Ceramic Dagger apply to what's known as pseudo exalteds. Pseudo Exalteds are abilities that use the mods of the corresponding weapon class. Exalted Blade has some restrictions in regards to what mods can be applied, so it's actually recommended that you ignore it and put a Helminth perk over it. Also when you have your Exalted Blade out it overrides your equipped melee so you really don't want it interfering. It's silly strong and it'll let you reach new KPM(kills per minute) numbers with Excal. I know he's your started frame so I assume this is something you'd be interested in. I really recommend you look into this on your own time.

I don't know if you know this, but there are actually TWO types of incarnon weapons! This video is about the Incarnon Genesis, introduced in The Duviri Paradox in April 2023, which are adapters to previously existing weapons that change them up by giving them a new firing type as well as boosted stats. But before they came, there were the "innate" incarnon weapons; originally introduced in Angels of the Zariman in April 2022 and sold by Cavalero, these weapons had the unique trait of incarnon evolution. There were originally three: Phenmor, Laetum, and the Praedos. Later, two were added: the felarx and Innodem. Much later in Dante Unbound in March 2024, the Onos and Ruvox were added into (human) Loid's shop. One advantage the "innate" incarnon weapons have over the genesis is that they have an additional evolution perk because they were innately designed for incarnon evolution. My personal favorite of all incarnon weapons is the Phenmor because of it's high ammo and fire rate and it's fifth evolution perk which grants a multiplicative TWO-THOUSAND PERCENT damage bonus to non-critical hits*. I'm glad that you're having a fun time and receiving help from the community. Players like StickyJoe 99 are a sight for sore eyes; giving their excess wares to those who need it because they know it will be better in the hands of the less fortunate.
*the fifth evolution perk only activates 50% of the time for every non-crit shot.

Base damage mods are not always bad. The problem with them is they don't scale well with other sources of base damage buffs like those provided from the Steel Path Arcanes you've been acquiring. Until you get some of those Arcanes upgraded I'd recommend you continue to use mods like Serration and Hornet Strike. Also worth noting that depending on your Arcane choice a base damage mods might actually be one of the better mods you can slot. It all just really depends but you should rely on them a bit more until you start maxing those SP Arcanes.

17:15 before the changes to armor scaling, flensing spikes was a no brainer choice. Now its not such a big diff from Crit Parallel.

Wait till you get Torid incarn, or Lex, or Toxocyst, or Dual Ichor... Those things will carry you through level cap if built right.
Lex is a hallway deleter, Toxocyst is dual BRRRRTTT that deletes bosses, Torid is a THE meta atm. Dual Ichor is probably the most fun melee by itself and can make melee feel broken again like the old spin slide days.
Side note, mactics you gotta get all the Galv mods... Multishot and Status chance mods are used on every high end build for nearly every single weapon. The status chance one (aptitude for rifles) has VERY few weapons it's not used on and it's only not used because there's issues with how the damage increase works with incarnon or splash damage.

No joke, I just got my Dual Ichor Incarnon and I was unlocking rivens and I was like "Wouldnt it be funny if I got a Dual Ichor riven hahaha- ha... Ha..." ... 77% Attack Speed increase, 268% Crit Chance, ×72 Damage to Corpus (Oh no).

Huh, I still remember the frenzy people had when the second gen incarnons first came out. And how much it just altered how some weapons were viewed. Torid and Latron going from forgettable at best to some of the best weapons in the game being the most notable. Though you're going to want to get the augment for the Latron, Double Tap. It'll make it's incarnon form especially far more potent.
And if you're bothering with this weeks rotation before the update, there's no bad choices just go with whatever you have or like the most. But the Dread and Hate are probably the best, followed by Despair, then Sibear and Zylok aren't bad. Just not as good.
Though I do hope you'll enjoy seeing your first new update after joining the game, should be better than it was for me since that one introduced Yarelli...who is better now admittedly, but was very lacking on release.

Your understanding of what incarnons are is both correct and incorrect. It is correct when talking about the incarnon genesis adaptors you get from steel path circuit. It is incorrect when talking about the incarnon weapons you get from Cavalero.
EDIT: For clarity, Cavalero sells the incarnon genesis adaptors for platinum. This is not what I'm talking about. Go to browse wares and you will see he sells some weapons blueprints. All of them are for incarnon weapons. They don't need an adaptor because the incarnon feature is built in.

You've also gotta get the strun incarnon the status shenanigans so are fun especially with the continuous buffs to status. Over 400% sc is super easy to get so you can get up to 12 status procs per shot when accounting for ms. Also StickyJoe99 Very kind use of your luck with giving away the latron rivens good luck to everyone.

My heart broke a little when he rerolled the crit chance + crit damage riven. The -100% damage would've been easily covered by Serration, that was such a good roll

Oh man, I love watching new players discover their first true room nuke weapons. Latron incarnon is one of the absolute best weapons in the game, so much so that I actually find it makes the game boring after a while lol. The incarnon weapons are great for just creating the most red numbers on your screen as possible at one time, but ultimately I find their design a little lazy. I much prefer things like the arca plasmor, or the vermisplicer, which clear rooms super fast, but still make it feel like your playing a game and not just pushing a button to make numbers appear lol.

You know, the first time I saw Sticky Joe99, I immediately noticed his smile. Keeping up with dental hygiene can be a tall task for some, but anyone who sees him can tell he takes care of his pearly whites and I think that’s really admirable. His brilliant smile lights up the room and really compliments his beautiful eyes. Joe is simply a thing of beauty and an absolute pleasure to be in the presence of.

So I’m not sure if anyone else has clarified but the primary difference between the telos and prime is that they swap their crit and status chances. The Boltor prime is mainly a status weapon while the telos is a crit weapon. Honestly it’s pretty much personal preference between the two to Incarnon. Whatever you like to build for and use. I generally prefer crit weapons so I chose the telos

Use mach crash on gauss. It is a slept on augmentation. With a high range/duration guass you can effectively crowd control whole rooms and nuke with a good aoe. Bonus points if you use the mecha set with a raska kubrow for shield gating and passive cascade nuking with DoT damage from the heat on thermal sunder plus what ever dots you apply to weapons.

Oh no, Telos Boltor incarnon is better than Boltor Prime incarnon, if you still not put it on Prime, put it on Telos. Personally I put it on both Boltors and Telos outperform Prime

Telos Boltor incarnon ends up with an average 4-7% more damage depending on context than the prime variant. Its a small enough difference to use whichever you have built out and not care unless you're speedrunning or something

My first ever incarnon was the strun prime, I've always been a shotgun guy and when I first got my hands on that incarnon, whoo baby, feels like I've got a literal laser beam/artillery canon

Flat damage is fine. It's not gross. It's like 3.75 out of 5 stars when there's 5 out of 5 star options.
It's like the baseline everything is compared to.

I think you'd like Mirage. She's a good "gun" frame. Her abilities are mostly passive so you can focus on using your weapons.
